SMS Messaging Privacy Policy

Effective: July 3, 2026

This SMS Messaging Privacy Policy explains how Peak Utility Group (“Peak Utility,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects the information you provide when you enroll in and receive text messages from our crew messaging program (the “Program”). It supplements our general Privacy Policy and our SMS Messaging Terms & Conditions.

About the Program

The Program is an internal operational messaging service. It is used to send text messages to Peak Utility Group employees, subcontractors, and crew members regarding dispatch, scheduling, job-site assignments, safety notices, and other time-sensitive operational updates. The Program is not used for consumer marketing.

Information we collect

For the Program we collect only the information needed to send you operational text messages, including:

  • Your mobile phone number
  • Your name
  • Your consent (opt-in) record
  • Message delivery and engagement data such as timestamps and STOP/HELP requests

We do not collect sensitive personal information through the Program.

How we use your information

We use your mobile number and related information solely to operate the Program: to send you the operational messages described above, to confirm your enrollment, to respond to HELP requests, to honor STOP (opt-out) requests, and to keep records required for compliance with applicable laws and carrier requirements.

No sharing of mobile information

No mobile information (including mobile phone numbers) will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We do not sell, rent, or trade your mobile phone number. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third parties. We may share information only with service providers that help us operate the Program (for example, our SMS platform provider), and only to the extent needed to deliver the messages, or where required by law. All such providers are bound to use the information only for those purposes.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies based on operational needs. You may receive recurring messages tied to dispatch, scheduling, and safety activity.

Message and data rates

Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Standard rates from your wireless carrier may apply to each message you send or receive under the Program.

Opting out and getting help

You can cancel the Program at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you send STOP, we will send a one-time confirmation and will not send you further Program messages. For help, reply HELP, email info@peakutilitygroup.com, or call (888) 222-1415. You can also text or call our messaging line at (484) 999-3954.

Data retention and security

We retain opt-in records and message logs for as long as needed to operate the Program and to meet legal and carrier compliance obligations, after which we delete or de-identify them. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we hold.

Changes to this policy

We may update this SMS Messaging Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective” date above reflects the most recent update, and the current version will always be posted at this address.
